Getting Cross Cultural, or...

...How to offend as much people, nationalities and races in one post as humanly possible.

I wanted to post this on Secret Arabian I, but it seems if my entry pass there has been revoked. I read something Gulf News this week about racial sterotypes and something on the internet the other week about Mariah Carey and how she hates racism. If you ever read the article you might see there are some aspects of logic missing from what Mrs. Carey was saying (apparently people forget that she is black, despite the way her face looks and the way her voice sounds… and the fact that she also is one of the biggest RnB singers in the world). But what she got me thinking about what people say amongst their own races about other races when they are not around.

So for everyone who are curious about how other people from races might be talking about you behind your back (maybe even your workmates and so called friends) here is a dictionary list of politically incorrect stereotypes of a selection of races and nationalities I have heared first hand or second hand.

Now before anyone leaves a comment saying that I am a bigot I have emphasized on my own blog that I am not racist and I hate racism. My wife is black (but Emirati) , I have friends who are Indian and I even once shared a bed with a Lebanese man (not in a gay way, just for sleeping; but that last revelation is for all you people who believe I am a homophobe and a levantphobe)

Arabs: Terrorists; Racist; Fanatics, Bisexual
Americans: Arrogant, Loud, Obnoxious, Ignorant
Algerians: Poor, Thieves
Australians:* See South Africans
Bahrainis: Boring.
Blacks: Poor, Lazy, Pimps, Hoes, Drug Dealers
Emiraties: Rich, Arrogant, Lazy, Stupid, Racist, Superiority Complex
English: Arrogant, Don’t wash, Hooligans, Gay
Egyptians: Hygiene problems, loud, obnoxious, Corrupt.
French: Gay, Smelly
German: Humorless
Indians: Stupid, Poor, smelly, taxi drivers
Iraqis: Crazy, Mad, Crazy
Italians: Wannabe white, Gangsters and spaghetti eaters.

Women: Driving Me Crazy

This is an official rant against women everywhere where-ever they may be.

I think the Saudies may have got one thing right out of the hundreds that they have gotten wrong, because allowing women to drive is stupid. No, there is no religious restrictions on women driving and they shouldnt be, but there should be social ones.

I was in Kuwait over the weekend and I am still shaking from my close encounter with the lady in the ugly Porsche Cayenne and my Nissan *still waiting for my company to provide me with a real car* Maxima.

Now I know what it feels like to be a poor person on the road.
